If you are experiencing similar symptoms, you could be suffering from unhealed trauma which if treated could become an awakening towards a deeper connection with yourself.
Almost all of us have had traumatic experiences in our lives. Trauma is usually caused by abuse of power, severe prolonged stress, frightening or distressing events, inter-generational trauma that cause a deep wound to the emotional, mental, and psychological health of a person. Every person has a different response to trauma.
Trauma can fragment our experience, and create debilitating changes in our lives – long after a threat is gone. It can lodge itself into our felt experience and embed itself into our bodies, souls and our minds. Trauma can change us on a cellular level.
Trauma disconnects us from our center, from our identity so we cannot be ourselves. Trauma determines how we view the world and how we react to it. Whatever happened in your childhood even before you were born has a massive impact on how you behave and feel right now. All later traumatic experiences have within them the seeds of re-traumatization of childhood trauma.
Trauma impacts our personal and professional life, our relationships, our potential, and stops us from reaching for our dreams and achieving fulfillment in life. Usually, we keep repeating the same survival strategies or patterns of behavior until we face the trauma, feel it, and heal it. Trauma can also be passed on through many family generations without being acknowledged.
Many recent studies suggest that trauma could make you more vulnerable to developing physical health problems, including long-term or chronic illnesses.
Treating trauma is some of the most demanding, complex inner work you have to do. Healing trauma can be challenging and difficult.
Even after years of talking therapy and medication, the effects of trauma can sometimes still linger. Fortunately, there is another way. Research reveals that there are new and deeply effective ways to heal trauma.
Why do you have to do the work? The answer is very simple: to be healthy, to know who you are, to know what you want, to know your purpose, to be real, to live your truth.
Slow down for a moment and look at your challenges. Your life reflects what is going on within you and your symptoms, pains, and wounds show you the direction you should follow in order to heal. Yourself and life is already guiding you towards healing. Are you open to hear it, see it and feel it?
True fulfillment in life comes from healthy autonomy, knowing who you are, what you want, and your purpose.
You have a choice now, so if you want to know and honor your truth and what is in the background of your problems I invite you to work with me.
